Prayer

Prayer is the ‘bridge’ that allows the manifestation of the finished works of Christ in a believer’s life.

When you think you have reached the end of your ‘tether’, let go of your ‘rope’ and grab hold of God’s ‘lifeline’.
Embrace your overall fragility, your total dependance on God, and instead of becoming bitter, you will become better.
Remember that when you have reached the end of yourself, be filled with joy and peace, because that is where God only begins!

The new covenant of grace

The laws of the new covenant of grace that God puts in our minds and writes on our hearts are the royal law of love (Matthew 22:37-40), the perfect law of liberty (James 1:25) and the law of faith. (Romans 3:27)

Garment of praise

God has a “garment of praise” (“The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.” Isaiah 61:3) for His true sons and daughters.

As a result, people will esteem you – they will look up to you, value you, appreciate you and acknowledge your uniqueness and greatness.
By greatness is meant your God potential, which is the extent to which you are walking out your pre-ordained destiny in Christ.

Just remember humbly that all the glory, honour and praise belongs to God, not to you or any other human being.
Also remember to primarily look to God for validation, affirmation, recognition and confirmation, not people, although He does at times work through people as it pleases Him in terms of His purposes.

When you bow lowest in adoration of God, you are at your very highest. The soul (comprised of your mind, emotions and free will) full of joy takes a still higher step when it clothes itself with praise. To be wrapped in praise to God is the highest state of the soul.

Perseverance

Perseverance is stubbornness with a purpose.
It is when you have the courage and determination to stand for God no matter what the cost.
Remember, continuous, steadfast effort, despite any challenge or discouragement, will unlock your true God potential.
Hardship builds character, matures you, and strengthens your resolve if you allow it to. Simply rest and flow in the finished work of Christ.
God’s true sons and daughters are standing on their victory, not defending it!
Don’t try and do God’s work, because you will fail every time. Be still, so that God can move on your behalf.

Praise and thanksgiving

Praise and thanksgiving to God causes your faith to thrive, and brings about the full manifestation in the natural of a ‘tsunami’ of blessings.
So praise and thank God, even in the midst of life’s ongoing trials, afflictions and challenges, and you will experience a supernaturally victorious life in Christ!

Battlefield of the mind

Your mind is the arena of faith. You need to tame your mind so that you can fully receive Christ’s finished work of grace.
Immediately reject Satan’s suggestions, his “fiery darts”, knowing that he is merely the accuser of the brethren and the father of lies.

Reverence

God’s wrath is as perfect as His love. Reverence for Him is a righteous, spiritual ‘fear’, completely different to natural fear. It is indicative of a true believer’s acknowledgement of God’s absolute holiness, righteousness and justness. God corrects and disciplines His own out of love, for their benefit, unlike Satan who punishes, i.e always tries to cause as much pain, hurt and suffering as possible.
